cyberbullying
Cyberbullying video - elementary level
Cyberbullying is a serious problem. Regular bullying is a problem too, but the Internet makes it worse because instead of just a couple people making fun of or picking on someone, it can turn into thousands and millions of people! If someone types mean things or shares bad photos of someone, and people share it with other people, or everyone sees it on Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, or Youtube, a person could feel like the whole world hates them.

Kids and teenagers have hurt themselves because of cyberbullying. This is something that must stop.
If you are cyberbullied, you should report it right away. Don't read and look at the negative comments and let it make you crazy. You need to know that cyberbullies hide behind their computers and make fun of others so they can feel better about themselves. They think it's funny to hurt people's feelings. Tell someone you trust so that it will stop, and the person or people doing it will stop doing it to you and to other people.
If a friend shares something mean with you about someone else, DO NOT SHARE IT WITH OTHERS! How would you feel if something you shared ended up being shared all over the world on the Internet and then the person being made fun of hurt themselves? That would be terrible guilt to carry for the rest of your life. Even if you don't type anything yourself, even sharing it makes you one of the cyberbullies. It's the sharing that makes it grow, and that's what makes a person feel so upset and alone. If a friend shares something mean about someone with you, tell them what you have learned and try to convince them not to be a cyberbully.
